Adventure Today Privacy Policy
Adventure Today is a Washington-focused adventure game developed and operated by Matt D. This policy explains what information the Android app processes and how players can control it.
Information we process
Protected account information
If you create a protected account, Supabase Authentication processes your email address, account identifier, login credentials in secured form, and optional display name. Passwords are never visible to Adventure Today.
Game and multiplayer information
The app stores most progress on your device. Online features may store your account identifier with Expedition membership and shared outcomes, Relic Dust wallet state, market listings, direct-trade sessions, and the minimum records needed to prevent duplicate claims.
Location and field media
Location is processed on the device to show the Magic Map, guide missions, record optional routes, and support nearby discoveries. Photos, video, audio, notes, and route packets created for field play remain in app-controlled device storage unless you intentionally share or transfer them.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate protected accounts, restore the correct local archive, synchronize Expeditions, run player-to-player trades, provide safety and navigation features, prevent duplicate rewards, troubleshoot failures, and secure the service.
Android permissions
Adventure Today asks for permissions only when the related feature needs them. Location supports the Magic Map, mission navigation, discoveries, and optional route recording. Camera supports field evidence and optional AR. Microphone supports field clips, voice notes, and walkie-talkie features. Nearby devices, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC support optional local Expedition and trade connections. Notifications show active navigation, walkie-talkie, downloads, and time-sensitive field status. You can deny or revoke permissions in Android Settings; features that require them will be unavailable.
Retention and security
Protected account records remain while the account is active. When an account is deleted, its authentication record and directly owned cloud data are removed. References in shared records are removed or anonymized so another player’s completed Expedition or trade record can remain coherent. Service security logs and backups may persist for a limited period under the service provider’s retention process. Device-only game data remains on the device until it is cleared in the app, Android settings, or by uninstalling.
Your choices
You can play core solo content locally, control Android permissions, choose whether to create a protected account, and delete that account from the hamburger menu. If the app is unavailable, use the external account-deletion page.
